David Shamash is the founder of EMET Wealth Advisors. The firm specializes in working with bankers, technology engineers, medical professionals and business owners to maximize their savings and protect their wealth. David attended Queens College where he majored in both economics and accounting. It did not take him long to realize spending time with clients was just as important as crunching numbers. Developing meaningful relationships with clients, helping them prepare for life’s unexpected situations and retire with financial peace led David to the world of financial planning.

David started his career at AXA Advisors where he was awarded a top five advisor for two consecutive years. He was invited to the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) in his first year. From there his business expanded and took him to Sentinel Solutions, a boutique advisory firm. As a senior advisor he provided comprehensive financial strategies to his clients. After several years in the industry David founded EMET Wealth, with a goal of serving as a personal CFO to his clients. He wants to educate clients on the many options available.

David is married to his wonderful wife, Rose, and has six great children, Ahuva, Ovadia, Hillel, Temima, Ariella and Nechama. They live in Long Island, New York. On his personal time, he enjoys playing competitive basketball, working out at the gym and taking road trips with his family.
